Which one of those do you think will be the one that lets you down :D  There's always one, I think the weak link is France.

I stayed away form backing France...I think Scotland might just nick something from this game (though I suspect they'll get humped now ;)

Backed England..1-2 is too short for England at wembley IF Heskey plays. If Mclaren goes back to Crouch and Owen I think England might just balls it up as Guus will have counted on that. If crouch starts I'll have a sneaky bet on 0-0.
Backed Portugal and Holland aswell (Even Van Basten can't balls this game up..you'd think..well not now Van Nistelrooij is back :)

Why should starting with Crouch be an issue?  He's done well in an England shirt over the past year and a bit.

If lampard was playing i would lump on Russia but he isnt so just an interst bit of value in Russia for me.

I think Germany at 1/2 is a really good bet.

I also think Scotland can get a result the night, dunno why but there is something in me giving me some sort of confidence.  I'm not a fan of international football and I don't really give two hoots if Scotland do well I rank them alongside Rangers :)  But I have a feeling.  Time to lay the arse out them.

I also fancy Poland to win away from home and Norn Ireland to get a result.

Nice finish, but I thought Russia were meant to have a decent defence?  Leaving Owen unmarked at the edge of the 6-yard box at a corner is a bit daft.  Still, only the second goal Russia's conceded.

Kev could have finished from there.

England looked goooooooooooooooooooooooood again

this teams buzzing, fuck lampard and beckham, this is the first time in a long while ive seen an England midfield play with such authority cohesion and confidence, just dont let donkey lampard back in the team to mangle it and we can build a decent team for the champinships.

This midfield even has the ability to make donkey hesky look good(obv he's getting benched when rooney comes back) bar that richards and barry are a MUST from now on IMO

Scotland and Wales both scoring cost a little bit but well done them any way

covered 3-0 as well so England win, England clean sheet and England 3-0 plus a late N.Ireland own goal pulls a nice profit

well Van nistelrooij saved my bets in the 90th minute so my treble came up..and the heskey Owen partnership did the business for England. Now if England don't start to go back to the "We'll play our star players only" (Lampard, Crouch, rooney etc) they look very good for the future...11 star players does not a team make..as Real found out the hard way.

Since when has Crouch been a star player?  He couldn't get on the pitch against Portugal, when he should have started, and instead we played with one up top  - Rooney - who just can't play that role.  He only came on once Rooney had been sent off.
