Title: Forest v Leicester
Post by: Pelham Boy on September 18, 2007, 07:59:59 PM
Apparantly the clubs agreed to start the game at 1-0,which was the score when the original game was abandoned.

Surely this should have been made public?

I got the wrong impression of a mate,Leicester actually allowed the Forest keeper to walk through and score from the kick off.

IMO this scandalous.

I cant see the bookies being as generous as Leicester and refunding bets.

what a night!

2 goals in the last few minutes, get in!

yours, voice lost!

great gesture, we asked to nominate the player to score the goal and chose the keeper so as not to effect first goalscorer betting markets as such, the keeper not being quoted on coupons

I think its a great gesture but does lead to some serious questions regarding betting on the game.

this helps, to see a bookie reciprocating the gesture

Nope, last year it didn't matter if we conceded goals because we had enough attacking options to make up for it and win games a la Keegan at newcastle.

Now up in the higher levels where scoring is a lot more difficult it appears we don't have a plan b :D
