Title: Re: daft fold? Post by: Smart Money on September 22, 2007, 07:16:12 AM There's not much that beats you. 88 is the only likely holding.
I'm not sure he'd shove the turn with it though- more likely he's drawing with a hand like Ac 8c or Tc 9c. I'd call. Title: Re: daft fold? Post by: boldie on September 22, 2007, 09:51:40 AM yeah I'd agree there. I don't think he'd shove with a set here..400 into a 200 ish pot only scares people off that you want calling. I have to call..and probably see him flip over 2 pair or something..I don't expect him to have a set here. He might even think you're at it from the button.
Not a fold for me..having said that..I never fold a set on a board like this..only a higher set and J9 beat you and you should be able to rule J9 out taking the flop betting into account.
