So October beckons, the weather changes, the leaves turn to russet and the nights draw in

Perfect time of the year for a bracing few days in Blackpool then!

The prize for the winning player on the winning team in the final month of the blonde/Virgin team challenge is a seat into the final leg of the GUKPT, GUKPT Blackpool, kindly provided by Virgin Poker.

So its that time again, before the first event next Tuesday I need teams confirmed please so we can do all the behind the scenes stuff. The behind the scenes stuff is I tell Sharky, he humours me by pretending he hasn't got it in hand, and I fret.

The Schedule for October is:

8pm Starts

On blonde's cardroom Tuesdays 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th

On Virgin Poker  Thursdays 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th

The team  I play in is desperately looking for a replacement for Ironside for starters. Ironside being a man who's concept of soft-play does not seem to have extended beyond the play mats at Kindergarten.

Please, sincere plea, someone volunteer to join our team.

i will not be looking for a new team as i hope to be playing live

along with the fact my team mates always disapoint me by not carrying me

Right I am back on the poker scene after a forced break (no bloody internet grrrrrrr)  With a scorching connection and a brand new lap top,  So the 1st team to demand my supreme skills will get the honour!

The Dog Wardens are looking for a team member.

This month we weren't in the hunt (mainly due to poor attendance!).

Next month we will be back in contention so we need a player who can play the whole month and grind away for us.

I'm not entirely sure what format this competition takes other than being a team event but I've just registered on Virgin so would quite like to join a team if anyone will have me (preferably one with low expectations lol).
