Title: Was this a good move
Post by: smithy69 on October 20, 2005, 05:43:04 PM
I have just been bad mouthed for about 10 mins after this play.

down to 20 in a mtt. average chips

I am on the button, and 2 big stacks limp in (for the 4th/5th time)

I reraise all in with my 5k - blinds are 200/400 so there is alot of chips up for grabs. I have filth  7d 5h but the 2 blinds have been weak all game, and the other 2 love to see flops.

They all fold around to the last person who calls - im thinking oh dear - got caught

HE TURNS OVER Jc 4c

I flop 2 pair

and then get a mouthful of everyone.

I thought this was a good play. Am I right or wrong

I am new so all comments are welcome

I like the play, your putting in 5k to win 1600, the only problem with this is that by the time it gets back around to the large stack who has limped he has to call 4600 to win 6600, so he does not need a 'massive hand' to call. However he does need a hand, this move was well timed and you still had enough to make the pass good hands.

His call with J4 is pure shite play. Muppets i say, you out played them, they made a lucky call and even then it was 60-40.
