Title: maxithlon season 2
Post by: Ironside on September 30, 2007, 08:59:49 PM
i am at a meeting at the sutton strollers owned my are own divaflava

i have about 1/3 of my atheles on low to get some form for the nationals

quite happy with my current 4th spot though hoping to get above trundlers team

diva is strolling the meet and trundler isnt happy

aspere who won the golden league in the first season is getting hammered in the other meet

and has already thrown toys out the pram and put his squad on the market claiming he hasnt time any more due to battrick FC games

he is in 3rd at the moment

but he is going to struggle as he is over working his athletes

Well, he managed to scrape 2nd. I made sure I won my home meet, with a few squad athletes on + although the majority of my regulars were on = and a few of the stars were on -

Think I'll be comfortable this season but won't be challenging for the title.  Ilkley Harriers look tought to beat. I see Asperse decided to quite while he's ahead! Bit surprised by his squad, thought they must've been better than that.

asperse was on high most of last year also traded heavily

neither him or trundler higher coaches and trundler doesnt asign coaches to many of his athletes

Happy that I finished 5th in my 1st attempt in league 2, especially with so many injuries, either in the events or with my better athletes.   Much more to come from me this season

finished 3rd in my league meeting tonight ( but just the 1 point behind 2nd)... considering i have a relatively new team I'm happy with my current 6th position in Ramshire's league...especially as my good runners are all out injured :)

you mean diva and the big boys

diva is in 3rd spot in the goldern league

i am in 8th

good luck on you efforts

hopefully the goldern league will have more active teams next year

aspere who won it the first year quit due to all his athletes being dead adter running on high all season
but came back after selling all his runners and is ticking along but will be relegated

and trundler also found out his team want that great this year and has seemed to have just abandoned his team when he realise he was going to finish mid table

my team IS turning up, with many personal bests

After 28 events tonight, i am leading the competition in 2.1, won't get promoted but finishing higher is all the better for me

Well done to ramshire for promotion

happy enough with my 1st season in div 2 finishing 8/16

Tonight is a VERY good reflection on the strengths and weaknesses of my team

the fellas finished in last place, and the ladies in 2nd

Congrats to Ramshire. Golden League's easy-peasy, nobody ever tries to win after the first week!
