Dusk Till Dawn to Open November 29th

Nottingham-based poker club Dusk Till Dawn, the first legal poker club in the UK, will be opening its doors for the first time on November 29th.
The schedule is yet to be fully confirmed, however, all tournaments on offer will be freeze outs, no re-buys and there will be a £500 tournament to celebrate the opening of the club on Saturday 1st December. On-line satellites for the opening tournament will be available on DTDPoker over the coming months.

The club will initially open Thursday-Sunday from 6pm-4am and will gradually increase its opening times as we recruit more staff. Current projections are to increase by an additional day every three months although this will naturally depend on the growth of the workforce.

Owner Rob Yong says "We are now completely focused on recruiting and training good quality people to work at the club and will open 7 days a week once we have these people in place. We want to ensure that every single player who visits the club receives the highest level of service from the minute they walk in to the minute they leave".

Needless to say, none of us can wait until then and I suspect industry in the UK will suffer a big % increase in "Sickies" on the 30th !

What's the capacity for the opening night party and I'm guessing it's invite only.

Also will the 29th be the grand opening or is it the first night open to the "joe" public and a private party prior to that date???

I think 25k dtd points = £500, it's alot anyway :P, not sure I wanna stick half of them on one tournament....still pretty sick "free" entry!

I was about to post that you can only use it towards to the juice but ive just checked the site and its entry fees... cracking deal imo.   £500 is 25000mpps

How do we spend our points at the club? log on at the club and take them off the account??

will the club have wireless and will we be able to take or laptops in to play?

Internet facilities will be available in the club, you will not be able to take in your own equipment.

The club will have a record of your accumulated DTD Points so all you need to do is turn up, no worries and have fun :D
