Killen is not the long term answer mate, but he tries, he pesters defenders can hold the ball up and win his share of headers.

JVoH IMO is a very overrated and I would punt him if any decent offer was made.

there is a reason Jan had to leave PSV..but I thought he did allright for you last season, so?

He hardly played Boldie, always injured, bad first touch cant header the ball and for a big fella he plays like a "fairy"!

Whats the reason he has to leave PSV?

no pace and simply wasn't good enough really..misses too many clearcut chances to be at a top club in the Dutch league. He played for Twente before he came to PSV..they are a "middle of the table but decent enough side" sort of team..he was good with them..but we had Kone and Farfan and they were about..erm 10 times better..

But I thought he started out well enough at Celtic last season...thought maybe he just needed a switch of club or something.

Well played Celtic.  Shame Liverpool didn't show the same commitment, effort, and even a modicum of skill tonight.  It was like watching Spurs...

Dida should get a fine and ban. What a disgrace he is.   A palm on the chest then he runs after the douchbag. Then decides 2-1 down injury time, 'i'll go down an get celtic in the shit, we get the points'.  and goes off on a stretcher with an ice bag on his head.

That doughbag that ran on need to be brought behind the celtic supporters club on the falls rd in belfast, he'd think twice about doing that again.
Great night for the tic, brave performance by all

I don't think so.

If anything, Dida's mucking about will probably save Celtic. Nothing worse than a game behind closed doors, if that. Probably just a fine.

A couple of games behind closed doors max. Having said that, that could be enough to see Celtic miss out on the next stage.

Cracking result. Scottish Football needs dope testing right now!!!

Fine/match behind closed doors will be the punishment

If that was an old firm game Dida would be in real danger of being arrested for inciting a riot.

Fine for the club for that idiot who will never set foot inside Celtic park again.

Good result although the result in Benfica was anything but.

It will more than likely just be a fine with a possibility of having to play games behind closed doors.

FWIW Milan got exactly what they deserved from the game tonight.

THought all the Milan representatives interviewed had a great attitude about the incident - mind you if they'd seen it they'd be embarassed!!!

Dida ruled out of WTC

AC Milan keeper Dida was tonight ruled out of the World Tig Championships following a horror injury sustained at Celtic Park Glasgow. Dida ,who was in the running for the top spot in the WTC, was struck down by a gifted unknown from Glasgow. The amatuer tig player cornered Dida between two posts and a net and managed to tig him and shout "You're it" before making a clean get away. Dida attempted to tig him back but was unable to catch the nimble soap dodger. Dida was so humiliated at being caught by a "rank" outsider that he collapsed in a total cream puff and had to be carried from the field greeting for his mammy.

The Scottish champions face the prospect of a further £25,000 fine if a similar incident happens over a two-year probationary period.

Dida was stretchered off after being confronted by the invading fan and was criticised for overreacting.

And Uefa's control and disciplinary body took a dim view of the keeper's theatrics, charging him with a lack of sportsmanship.

Too bloody right about Dida.  Not a bad decision for Celtic.  Common sense from UEFA?

Well to be honest If they only fined the Spannish FA €2000 a few years ago for their fans racist abuse of the england players then I think £25,000 is a bit extreme for Celtic for the actions of ONE fan.

But given what they might have hit us with depending on what mood they were in then I'll settle for a £25,000 fine although I wouldn't call it a 'result'

In the news

"Uefa and the Strathclyde Police have just announced that the fan who carried out the vicious and racist attack on the AC Milan Goalkeeper has been jailed for life.
Celtic have been thrown out of Europe, fined £25 Million and been relegated to the Scottish Third Division"

Carlsberg don't do the news but if they did it'd be the best F'ing news in the world!
