the drunken idiot in Singapore appears as....well a  drunken idiot in Dublin.   A superb poker player who rakes 16k a month playing Limit ( so he says), now playing under the name of Doombadger.  He is a hit with the ladies , almost managing to pull Rookie's better half , and he also hates the Welsh ( as he was keen to point out to Dewi   rotflmfao  )         

LoL this guy was quality entertainment. apparently best mates with all the high rollers. Rakes $16k a month at $5/10 limit. I knew id seen him somewhere when he started chirping about singapore.

Are ye talking about Kieran Walsh or the drunken idiot in his videos?  Saw Kieran at a final table last December in Cork.  He won it, but he'd upset a nation at any final table he happens to land on.  Suppose that's half of why he wins so often...puts everyone else on tilt just listening to him.

LMAO -  :dontask: on the plus side my wonderful boyfriend did manage to return after many a beseeching text - having left me with this "minx" loving man.

Thankfully the boys returned and proceeded to prolong this encounter, with DoomBadger, until we eventually outstayed our welcome in the pub. Then they did the only decent thing, and brought him back to his hotel.

Thank god the vodka numbed the pain, the jagermeister and aftershock almost removed this encounter - but not quite.

How do you expect him to react?  You wouldn't be too happy if someone put you on youtube calling you an idiot in the process.  I am sure we all talk sense when we are drunk erm don't we???

Alright finally iam gonna reply to this as I often chat with doombadger on msn because we played the same games for a while and hes a really nice guy.

First off all a video making fun of someone else in a way that lets him look dumb wiithout the person knowing and then hosting it on the internet is just childish and shows how much class and this dude has. The one who made the vid must really be a poor guy at life.

Then to the videos itself, i dont undertsand the speech very well because of the poor quality and that iam german, especially not irish drunks.

However raking 16K a month from 3-6 to 10/20 is very common if you play HU. Back when I played 5/10 I played 30k hands on avrg a motnh and did rake around 10K. This was mostly 5 handed. So when u play HU you at least double that if not more plus you play alot more Hands.

Also in general any pair in a LHE HU Game is a very strong Hand, mid pair or better are often the nuts!


I could make so much vids letting dbags like flipper look dumb in a lot of ways on so many levels especially when boozed but why would I something like that? This is like the last thing i would do if i have too much time or dont know what about too blog. Making Fun of someone is one thing, letting someone looking dumb in this way in the worldwidewe and beeing proud of it is another thing. Who does this guy think he is?

Also if I offend someone in such a disgusting way I should AT LEAST have the guts to stand str8 up for what I did like a man instead of running like a pussy. But a real man wouldnt make such a video in the first place.

Yeo he is a good guy I was a roommate of his in Dublin and he does play quite high limit poker.  I came across Flipper in Singapore in what was my first live big event, when it was around the bubble I had a shortish stack and an uncalled all in was adding 15%-20% of my stack.  I thought it was quite clear that I had a hand good enough to go all in but not want a call was the best play.  He twice called me a one trick pony under his breath I only heard him once but was told later he had said it again.  I was very happy when I knocked him out of that tourney and he must be fuming he managed to get knocked out by a one trick pony.  Anyway the fact that he made the comments in the first place show what kind of person he is.
