the more i look at it the more i like it, was 3/1 now 11/4, trainers fancies it and had a practise run on track this week anyone any thoughts on this, is it best to take price today??????? Title: Re: RAVEN'S PASS Post by: vegaslover on October 16, 2007, 09:56:54 PM If someones tipping it on a public forum this far from race day, then I wouldn't go near it. The last thing anyone would want is the price to drift in this early
Title: Re: RAVEN'S PASS Post by: seven2unsuited on October 16, 2007, 11:20:32 PM wasnt' tipped on forum, someone mentioned it when we were watching the leeoop or what ever its called on laddies. and someone asked if anyone had any tips for this week
Title: Re: RAVEN'S PASS Post by: Horneris on October 17, 2007, 02:17:50 AM Has a 2nd favourites chance. As the price indicates, if the race is run 15 times, itll win 4 times.
Title: Re: RAVEN'S PASS Post by: GlasgowBandit on October 17, 2007, 06:53:14 AM I have watched all of this horses races and it looked impressive each time and IMO got better with the run. What is interesting, I think is its not often that John Gosden has a winner first time out, there was support this horse as well in its first race when it was backed in from 33/1 to 20/1.
There is now doubt that Saturday sees it step up in class but I think it has every chance. I hate the dewhurst as a betting race though. Title: Re: RAVEN'S PASS Post by: crown on October 17, 2007, 10:39:38 AM This is by far the best 2 year old race of the season.
I was talking to my mate yesterday who is an odds compiler and he really fancies Ravens Pass a lot in his own words "I think this is a really special horse who could go on to be a true superstar" after talking with him for over half an hour he totally sold me on having a bet on him. I had a good look at the race and fancy McCartney too so have had a decent bet on Ravens Pass and a little saver on McCartney Title: Re: RAVEN'S PASS Post by: boldie on October 20, 2007, 11:02:33 AM I'm on Mccartney for this one..If the favourite doesn't win it (and they often don't in the Dewhurst) Mccartney has a good shout and is a good price.
Title: Re: RAVEN'S PASS Post by: vegaslover on October 20, 2007, 11:45:42 AM Agree with you Boldie, mccartney is a cracking price and will like the ground so have had some each way.
Ravens pass looks to short in price for this race.
