Title: Triple Draw 2-7 Lowball
Post by: Buck Pete on October 18, 2007, 01:33:43 PM
Hi Folks

I have 2 posts under my belt so i thought it was time i strated a new topic.

After 10hrs play at the Vic on Tuesday i fancied a quick break from Hold em.

So i took down a huge $10 Triple Draw Tourney on stars last night i am thinking about investiong my $120 winnings in a trip to WSOP2008 and play the Triple draw event.

Seriously though, Has anyone ever played this poker discipline live?  I am actually looking at hitting Vegas next year for some WSOP side events and might chance my arm in this one.

Any Lowball Guru's out there?

Boldie seemingly knows every triple draw player on stars intimately. He told us that at  the weekend....sure it was something like that but the german accent kept getting in the way... :dontask:

2 7 Tripple Draw.

I have played in a few live events at this. Not played it online though.

It is a very slow game live, and is prone to mistakes by dealers.

Apart from that, I see no different from playing online.

haven't played it live yet..I'd imagine it's a VERY slow game though..just think how slow HE is live compared to online.

I play 2-7 cash a fair bit on stars (though Rudders has awakened my interest in Omaha over the weekend thanks to this REALLY soft cash game at bb5 on Sunday.

I don't play 2-7 tourneys..no point..they take ages because it's a limit game and the money is in cash :)
