Title: How to play this on the flop? Post by: Newmanseye on October 18, 2007, 03:18:33 PM Our raiser here is very tight, but he usually overvalues the AA unsuited cards for some reason. so on this flop i am unsure how to play my draw.

Title: Re: How to play this on the flop? Post by: doubleup on October 18, 2007, 03:53:32 PM fold you have 6 outs to a nut str8 no backdoor flushes and a call from you doesn't close the action (unless you've got $2 in front of you). You could end up putting all the money in here vs a better draw ie likely to split and a made hand.
ps I know that you've tried to shorten the HH to make it readable, but the stacks need to be in there as well. Title: Re: How to play this on the flop? Post by: Newmanseye on October 18, 2007, 04:01:37 PM So i should only be drawing if its to the nuts? I am reallly green on Omaha hence the question, I see people drawing to all sorts of silly draws in this game and i just have a tighter range hence i am enjoying this game atm.

Post by: doubleup on October 18, 2007, 10:28:56 PM Srry cant make out that post and you have more nut outs than I said, but I can still find a pass as there's a chance that there could be a lot of action on the flop. If you had a flush draw as well here or a couple of backdoors and werent particularly deepstacked prob ok.

If you're really green to omaha I would advise yes This hand is one that will only cost you money. It's a fold pre-flop aswell for me. You're OOP with an UTG raiser and plenty to act behind you. I advise reading supersystem 2 and sticking to premium hands for a while |
