Title: cash games Post by: timberman on October 20, 2007, 07:58:32 PM I have been playing mainly Sit and go's for the last month or so, and have had some nice sucess with them, I am now looking to start playing some more cash games, i have played a few NL cash games in the past and have lost more than I have won, so where do you think would be the best place for me to start on my cash game education microstakes on Limit or pot limit hold em, thanks

Play tight but agressive when you have a decent hand. It's a bit difficult to say where to start, have a go and feel free to post any particular hands or questions you have. The Poker Hand Analysis board can be a pretty helpful place if you are unsure if you played a hand correctly or not, and it's also useful to read how others have played hands. Other than that, get a book or two. Oh and play on blonde poker (banner on the right) - you'll get 30% 'reward bonus' which may add up to a few dollars each month. Title: Re: cash games Post by: Sark79 on October 20, 2007, 08:55:17 PM Don't play really micro limits like $0.02/0.04 Limit HE, it is pointless as everyone raises every single hand even if they hold crap :D. You never know if they are holding AA or 72os.

( please tell me a winning strategy ) It seems like nobody ever folds a hand . Watch some tiny limit games and look at the stats , almost everyone sees every flop and beyond.

Nothing wrong with the first two situations (obviously we all want to be) but the third would be a problem. |
