The big shock for me was that this happened PRE-FLOP with the blinds at 25-50 and the stacks both at around 2.5k. The 7s came on the turn to beat the Jc Jd.
I remember this clearly as I'd remarked to my better half that an As Ah vs Kc Kd pot was occuring. Crumblier than lancashire cheese I'd say. If memory serves the my call to the all in occured after the flop when I had the set. Even I wouldn't have called an all in pre flop with a pair of 7s at that stage of the comp. |
