Title: right 2 push ??
Post by: the sicilian on October 25, 2007, 03:33:41 AM
blinds 100 200...Me 5K

under the gun ( new to the table ) comes in for 600 standard raise 2nd position ( fairly tight ) reraises to 1700...i have   Qs Qh......

How do I play it....?  I figure I dont particulary want to see a flop as I envisage at least one big ace. I push allin thinking the re-re raise is very powerful and represents possibly A A or KK and look to take it down there and then...if i get called hopefully  im up against AK or if im really lucky 10 10 or J J.If im up against aces or kings...well thats the way it goes...

comments ??

Your nearly always against AK, AA or KK here (especially AK), fold, you have plenty of time for a better spot...

flat call and see Q on flop .
shove & hope for AK (but more than most ur against AA KK)
fold and wait for better spot with big pair.

agreed, not enough info here.  as well as chip stacks, what comp is it and what stage are you at?
