I do think that the situation at Chelsea is slightly different to Man Utd's and Liverpool because Abraovich seems to have a bottomless pit. A couple of months ago I was actually hoping that we would get taken over and have some money pumped into the club but after the club announced record profits I am glad the board have announced a lockdown . Is foreign investment a good thing that is coming into our game?? Title: Re: Foreign Investment Post by: Colchester Kev on October 28, 2007, 10:39:49 AM I cannot see the potential for return on the investment by the mega rich taking over premiership clubs, Surely if its all about the money, they should buy up championship clubs and pump the money into them to get up with the big boys and make shit loads .... someone buy Burnley FFS, surely a sleeping giant just waiting to be awoken ;)
