Title: Honesty Test Post by: doubleup on October 22, 2005, 06:19:13 PM How many of these did you get correct?
(I got one right - only cos I heard it before) Below are four (4) questions and a bonus question. You! have to answer them instantly. You can't take your time, answer all of them immediately. OK? Let's find out just how clever you really are.... Ready? GO!!! (scroll down) First Question: You are participating in a race. You overtake the second person. What position are you in? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Answer:If you answered that you are first, then you are absolutely wrong! If you overtake the second person and you take his place, you are second! Try not to screw up next time. Now answer the second question, but don't take as much time as you took for the first question, ! OK? Second Question: If you overtake the last person, then you are...? (scroll down) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Answer:If you answered that you are second to last, then you are wrong again. Tell me, how can you overtake the LAST Person? You're not very good at this, are you? Third Question: Very tricky arithmetic! Note: This must be done in your head only. Do NOT use paper and pencil or a calculator. Try it. Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000 . Now add 30. Add another 1000. Now add 20! . Now add another 1000 Now add 10. What is the total? Scroll down for answer..... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Did you get 5000? The correct answer is actually 4100. If you don't believe it, check it with a calculator! Today is definitely not your day, is it? Maybe you'll get the last question right.... ....Maybe. Fourth Question: Mary's father has five daughters: 1. Nana, 2. Nene, 3. Nini, 4. Nono. What is the name of the fiifth daughter? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Did you Answer Nunu? NO!Of course it isn't. Her name is Mary. Read the question again! Okay, now the bonus round: Amute person goes into a shop and wants to bu y a toothbrush. By imitating the action of brushing his teeth he successfully expresses himself to the shopkeeper and the purchase is done. Next, a blind man comes into the shop who wants to buy a pair of sunglasses; how does HE indicate what he wants? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He just has to open his mouth and ask... It's really very simple.... Like you! Title: Re: Honesty Test Post by: lvlarc_uk on October 22, 2005, 06:31:31 PM LOL good ones, I fell for the first 2 :D

Title: Re: Honesty Test Post by: -bw- on October 23, 2005, 03:28:48 PM I bet nobody can get past level 3 on this game here (http://www.suonodiroma.com/labirinto.swf)
You have to move your cursor around the yellow track, I was millimetres away from completing level 3 PS make sure you have your speakers on as this helps towards the end Title: Re: Honesty Test Post by: lvlarc_uk on October 23, 2005, 03:34:44 PM :redcard: :redcard: :redcard: :o :o

Only the maths question failed to fool me. If I ever got a maths question wrong though, it'd be time to give up. My only academic qualification was City & Guilds in Maths. Big deal, but it enabled me to get 100% in an exam to be a settler with Willam Hill in the day before Genies, & computers. "6 runners, dead heat for 2nd, rule 4 10p in the pound deduction, one horse at 11/8, the other at 85/40, 35p each way acca, how much does that come to" sorta thing. The answer? Err.....
Title: Re: Honesty Test Post by: Kaibobble on October 23, 2005, 09:31:22 PM Woohoo 5 for me - thats what you get for being a literal thinking geek. :-[

The main thing is that you and others have proved yourself honest in your answer and I feel certain that when we miniraise on the button, the blinds will instantly surrender, whereas some other posters will find themselves the subject of hard stares, chips almost in then back, cards almost folded then back, questions etc etc..... Title: Re: Honesty Test Post by: tikay on October 24, 2005, 05:05:55 PM Well, I would never miniraise on the button unless I had the goods, now would I? Title: Re: Honesty Test Post by: M3boy on October 24, 2005, 06:02:35 PM Well, I would never miniraise on the button unless I had the goods, now would I? LMAO Just remind me of that famous Gutshot quote Tikay?? When you had that monster 94 (or similar) and cracked that guys aces. "I was ahead before the flop after the turn, so what's his problem?" - CLASSIC Title: Re: Honesty Test Post by: tikay on October 24, 2005, 06:07:14 PM That was a misunderstanding Paul. These things happen. Title: Re: Honesty Test Post by: Royal Flush on October 24, 2005, 06:39:04 PM Can you not get a free eye-test at your age?
Title: Re: Honesty Test Post by: tikay on October 24, 2005, 06:40:24 PM What did you say? I can't bloomin get passed level 3 either. I'm assuming it's possible. Okay. I tried this on a friend at work, eagerly anticipating level 3. 4 times she muffed it up before reaching level 3 (sigh - women) ::) Anyhow, when she eventually arrived at level 3, she shocked me by actually copleting the bloomin thing! I was sooooo disappointed. She turned round towards me and said, 'Yeah. So? That was easy.' Whilst her back was turned, the monster appeared on the screen.' My prank went so Pete Tong and I don't know why. Maybe Linda Blair (or whatever her name is) was on her lunch break. boooooooooooo Title: Re: Honesty Test Post by: mikkyT on October 24, 2005, 07:34:10 PM If you where answering honestly, giving an immediate answer, I doubt 99% of people would get even one right, aside from the arithmetic one.
I got three right. The artimetic one, the daughter one and the bonus one Title: Re: Honesty Test Post by: tikay on October 24, 2005, 07:38:36 PM Agree 100% mikky. I only got the maths one right - but that's surely impossible to get wrong. Title: Re: Honesty Test Post by: Karabiner on October 24, 2005, 07:42:49 PM I only got the maths one wrong >:?
