Anyone seen that tackle by Binya on Brown (celtic), couldve snapped his leg in half

1. when i posted there were 5 or 6 goals over 8 games. ul gg wp

2. celtic were rotten and a spite bet on a benfica comeback had a massive + EBV (expected banter value)

3. if you actually watched the game shakter were the better team until milan scored, which i will accept from then on were very good.

4. 3 nil, get it right round ya

Just had exactly the same conversation with my dad. Ten matches sounds about right.

I reckon Brown's reaction must qualify him as a genuine hard man. Plenty players can put the boot in, but not many can get up from a tackle like that, and tell the post-match interviewer they'll be fine for training in the morning!

yeah, he took it very well, didnt seem flustered at all, i think the scottish assistant manager put the argument very well. when he said

I think a lesson should be learnt from this and a precedent should be set. Any kind of challenge like that, which is career-threatening to the opposite player, should really be hit severely

The alternative was to send the bear into the Benfica dressing room and show that dirty wee F****r what a hard man really is :)
