More news from Walsall, just in.

Red_Dog is OUT, 13th or 14th. SB R'd for the umpteenth time, Tom, getting low, calls with  Ks  9d, SB shows  Ac 2d. They both hit their top card.

Karabiner is battling on, as is Paul King.

Barry Neville, is HUGE again, 70k. His game amazes me, I just can't figure out what he's doing to do so well. This is how he doubled up from 35k to 70k this afternoon.

He goes ALL-IN UTG with  As 9h (WHAT?) & gets called by  Td Ts

Board comes  2d Jc Jd Kh Ks. Ten Ten man says "hard luck Barry", Barry says "giss the pot here 'ol lad, it's 2 bigger pair with an A".....

Red is umming & arring about where to go tonight. He said "50% chance Notts for the £50-er, 50% chance to Walsall, 50% chance stay in & play online"......

I'm, using Red's maths, 85%-40% likely to do Notts, Chili is 70%-50% to do Notts. You doing Nots spoony? If I don't respond to your reply, it's cos it's nap time here, Charlie wants a sleep, me too......

Maybe see ya later - hope so, it was good to see you last night, first time in a very long time. You seem to have grown younger.

Probably not doing notts because I have work on Moday morning. Didn't get to bed til 6am last night here, so very tired.

However, I will be in notts next week and intend to play the Friday and Sunday comps. Hope to see some familiar faces.

I went out 9th for £700.

Blinds were 2k/4k I had 27k (av 70k). Finding 44 in the cutoff I pushed allin.

BB woke up with AA  ;sleep;

Top prize is £10k

Paul King was still in (dead ringer for trainer Dandy Nicholls) is he a blonde ?

Quiet black guy Maurice was CL before he got my chips !

I know it went out 11th or 12th for £450 ( a deal was done so those guys got something)

Chicken Joe and Theo (softplaying each other all day with me sat in between!) were still in.

Cont...............

Next to fall was Theo Tsouvallaries as he had hid Qs Qh Busted by M Nicholsons As Ts. theo all in pre flop, M Nicholson hitting a  Ad on the river, 5th theo Tsouvallaries (£1400)

Next to go was the in form M Nicholson, against S Sandhu ( Both chip leaders at this point), Both big and small blind M Nicholson tried a small positional bet with sandhu raising 2 times the original bet. which M Nicholson Flat called with  Kh 5h, S Sandhu had  Qs 8s. Sandhu the hit a quenn on the flop with M Nicholson flushing with two hearts on the flop. N Nicholson move all in and Sandhu quickly called. No hearts came on the turn and river, so sandhu won with his pair of queens, N Micholson 4th (£2200)

sandhu then took out J Iqbal (cheif) both allin pre flop, chief having  Qh 8h aganist sandus 7d 7c even though chief hit an eight on the flop the were four clubs on the board giving sandhu a .out in 3th J Iqbal (£3000)  Cont..................

At this point there were 637000 chips in play the blinds were 5000/ 10000
Chicken Joe Had 127000 with sandhu having a massive 510000 and no deal was done.
joe then doubled though with his  4s 4d standing up against Qd Jc.
at this point one of the players asked for a toilet break. one can assume a deal was done.

on returning both player moved all in Joe with  Ah 7h against sandhus  Kc 6d, sandhu the hitting a six on the flop,

So guys, offically S Sandhu is your winner taking £10900, with chickin joe koumi taking £5700 finishing second

Wow, lovely little report, WHAT a Cardroom Manager Walsall have in young Dani - thanks Dani!

Good effort by Karabiner, he's in form. He had no chips all comp, but he can grind with the best of them. And yes, Paul King IS a bllondeite, though his stunning wife is not. Yet.

Congrats to all, a really lovely comp, played in great spirit, beautifully oganised, with a sumptous, & free, buffet.
