Title: israel v russia Post by: steeveg on November 17, 2007, 12:22:48 PM looking at the Israel v Russia from a betting point of view, think the bookies have overreacted offering 13/2 for Israel at home, not saying its a cert or anything but its definitely value

I just hope this didn't save his job..get rid of him on wednesday...or else we'll have to listen to everyone saying that England has the best players in Europe and would become champions if it wasn't for their nanager...Not like they've done that in the past of course Title: Re: israel v russia Post by: fergus8 on November 17, 2007, 08:12:44 PM hope you get italy, and you pump them

Title: Re: israel v russia Post by: bigalhx1 on November 18, 2007, 10:31:14 AM we will have to get behind the team on Wednesday the when we win 3-0 and win the group let rip at the manager then the fa might lesion to the fans could do with being 5-0 at half time then all the fans leave the ground that will do the trick and i will get home early lol

If they win 2-0 they will finish top of the group. Not sure what happens after that, as it's based on head-to-head before goal difference. So not sure what 3-1 means. I'm sure we'll have every possible situation discussed in detail before Wednesday. Shame the Sweaties are out. Was looking forward to both being drawn in the same group for a cracking clash. We'll have to wait for the World Cup... Title: Re: israel v russia Post by: Indestructable on November 18, 2007, 08:52:44 PM I saw on tv that it doesn't actually make any automatic difference as to who is 1st or 2nd. Although they can take into account the order they finish it isn't as important as you might think. For example in the France and Italy Group I would guess that both would be equally seeded. With England having reached the last 8 of the past 3 tournies I would imagine they would be ok whetehr they are 1st or 2nd in their group, assuming that they get the point needed.
