the less said about my performance at yesterday's women's event in Birmingham the better, but Suzanne did us proud and finally transferred that recent online form to live sucess, finishing a very credible 5th from a field of 105 runners.  I'm so pleased for her, as I'm sure you all will be.  Well done Suz!!!

ul Claire, though you finished in the top 15 on the leaderboard and came close on at least 2 occasions on the tour, and final tabled once too didn't you?...

Quite how I did it I dont know.

Early in the comp I managed to loose 3/4 of my chips with AK v TT on a KJ8 board, 2 diamonds on the flop, turn and river  brought 2 more diamonds and shes hit a flush  ;carlocitrone; I struggled for hours low stacked and finally with about 4BBs left I shove my chips in blind after an allin and find 45s v TT, 5 on the flop and a five on the river and im alive again  ;ashamed;
Next thing I know im on my first live final table with Lucy Rokash  ;gobsmacked; ;tightend; Im sure it was the monkey hugs that did it ;-)


Danni was very unlucky to be pipped at the post, she is an excellent player and a lovely young lady, im sure we will be hearing about her many sucesses in the future.

Only the final which is being held next month will be on telly. There will however be a youtube clip and I will post the link up when I know it. I have managed to avoid the cameras in the past but I dont think I got away with it this time.
