I hate them. Why are they part of our language? Everyone is doing it!!!

Go figure. WTF is that all about?

LOL is a web thing, rather than an American thing.  Although they'd like to think it was all their doing, it wasn't/isn't just their domain.

'Go figure' has got to be one of the worst.  I mean it's just soooooo.....

My daughter just asked me what 'sure' means.  I said that it means when you are certain or definite about something.  She said 'no, i mean when you ask a question and someone says "OK, sure"'.  Apparently she has a teacher that says it ::)

mainly used in american sitcom/drama programmes.

Think it means my fault or my mistake or i'm a dumb american t*** that cant speak properly.

Sorry I am in a world of pain with europeanisms to worry about Americanisms.

On the phone today I actually used the phrase "For sure!!!!"
