Title: Analysis Requested!
Post by: jjandellis on November 27, 2007, 11:13:40 PM
OK, I appear to be pulling myself out of my horrific recent run. It seems things are clicking back into place after an absence from the felt (virtual) and I have strung together some dominant displays in MTT's. I have found that I get good results in the Stars $109 EPT sats, so tend to play these where possible and trade in for W$.

However, I have dropped the baton at the last a few times and bubbled. Then this hand happened with 9 runners remaining and 5 getting tickets to the $650 (all have cashed for about $100):

PokerStars Game #13507415341: Tournament #68089777, $25+$2 Hold'em No Limit - Level XII (600/1200) - 2007/11/27 - 17:49:11 (ET)

A bit of history in this. Luca has re-raised me most of the time I have raised from the button. Alot of the time I respected his re-raise, as I was at it with hands like AJ/A10. However a couple of times I have gone back over the top to make him fold. He is also very fortunate to still be in after I caught him re-raising with A4 to my A9. He rivered a 4 when all in pre-flop...

So what do u do with your pocket 6s here???

It's a satellite?

Fold preflop every time.  You are chip leader, 5th pays the same as 1st, why do you need to play this?  Fold to the prize

Insta-fold and i don't think its close give me 99 or aq here, i think there is discussion to be had.

As Silo correctly stated its a satellite there is no need to be putting it on the line with a hand that is flipping most of the time and is sometimes crushed (more likely than being 70/30 here).

it being a sat you really have to fold pre-flop..there isn't any need to play this hand.

Not even close i need JJ+/AK+ to make this tricky.
