Ignore my pre-flop line which I imagine is total spew in the long run...

Been dabbling in low stakes omaha cash, would like opinions on not just this hand, but the situation in general and would like to know if this is a jam it flop or if I should let a turn card peel off. I mean it's pretty obv I'm up against a flush draw at the very least and poss a combo draw

I try not to be results orientated but I did an odds check of the hands and I was a 65/35 fav on the flop (he had Q-high flush draw + set of 3s) surely that's a good enough edge in Omaha to give him the pile?

I can't see why this wouldn't be fine - you're a favourite over anything aren't you? As you do have a redraw (to the fh). what's the worst he can have - 7d 8d plus an overpair for a max of 17 outs? But that's pretty unlikely. I'd have thought you don't really want to peel off another card as it's too likely to either give you a headache or kill your action.

As far as I'm aware (I only dabble like you at low stakes) the redraw question is more pertinent when you have a big hand that could be splitting the pot - eg if you have 78xx on a 569 flop with two diamonds and your opponent is desperate to get it all in then it could be that you're splitting at best and he's freerolling on the flush draw. In the case you posted, obviously your top set can't be splitting, so it doesn't really apply.

Preflop is fine. You should never call a raise there but completing is ok IMO.

GET IT IN ON THE FLOP WITH A FISTPUMP.
