Title: I hate aq and this is why: NL100 hand
Post by: Longy on November 30, 2007, 10:33:16 PM
I just hate this spot and i haven't got a clue where i am.

Prima Poker skin
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
6 players

Stack sizes:
UTG: $88.56
UTG+1: $153.97
CO: $102.50
Hero:  $109.36
SB: $91.56
BB: $99.00

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with  Ahrt Qh
UTG raises to $4, 2 folds, Hero calls, SB calls, BB folds.

Flop: 6s Qc Js ($13, 3 players)
SB checks, UTG bets $15, Hero ?????

Utg has been at the table for a while and hasn't got out of line. He is 40/12/3 through 2270 hands mostly datamined, also his cbet% (which i always have on pahud when playing cash) is 73%.

SB is a fish, he is calling an awful lot and called one of c-bet on the flop with a gutshot and k high oop. He is running something 50/7/2 over a small sample about 150 hands.

Should i have 3 bet preflop, what the hell is my line post flop?

6 Max I think this is a 3 bet Pre-flop on the button..helps you define where you are at far better IMO, and probably shifts the SB out of the way

Post flop it then becomes easier to maintain the aggression.

As played, I agree its unpleasant but with a 73% cbet %age from villian its tempting to raise here, probably for value.

Flat, you have position and a loose oppo. Get the vital info of his turn action.
