Hi all again, perservered with my very slow braodband connection tonight to try and get blonde and dtd on and finally after three hours got it downloaded as i am desperate to get playing and couldn't wait till tomorrow. I am right in the country here and can't get f-all. But anyway got it done and got all excited and try to desposit funds but can't as my card isn't registered on there. "Balls" so anyway now got sorted with skypoker and playing tonight in the velocity at nine. "yeah" ;cheerleader; so anyone that is registered good luck and should hopefully be on blonde tomorrow. Nice to speak to you all anyway.

Chicka's actually from the UK, but decided (during some mad fit) to move to Ireland a few weeks ago.  There isn't a pub safe in Cork/Kerry now.  Would make Dewi and Duke look like amateurs.   rotflmfao 

She wants me to teach her how to play poker.  Could be worse...Kev could teach her.   ;flushy;     

I would suggest velocity isn't the best place to start learning to play poker.

It will be fun and not cost much, but you won't learn too much. Depends what your after I suppose.

If your on sky poker already then I'd recommend the low level cash games on there, lots of bad players. You can play tight while you learn and probably still make a profit. If you want a bit more action then go for the single table tournaments. Most of the multi table tournaments on sky poker (especially velocity) have a really fast structure which means you have to play more hands and faster than 'normal' poker. So you could quite easily get the wrong idea about poker being more luck than skill  ;whistle;

There are also a few bugs in sky poker (which irritate me), and might just make it a little aukward for you. Blonde poker is always a nice place to play on an evening ;)

You're more than welcome pet!  Unfortunately, it turns out Paps and I can't play on the same table because they think we're playing from the same house.  We live in a rural area in Ireland and the broadband company must be using the same IP addy for everyone around here.   rotflmfao  Dunno how that's possible, but we'll have to ring them in the morning to see if it can be sorted out.
