I travel a lot and make lots of international calls. My bills are always massive and I keep asking them to put me on a better tarif, but everyone they put me on seems more expensive. Soooooooooooo, can anyone recommend a decent operator/dealer for someone who uses a phone not often but makes occasional international calls? Title: Re: Good Mobile Tariffs? Post by: RichEO on December 04, 2007, 06:26:15 PM The cheapest way to make international calls is with skype, if you have a laptop or PDA and have a data tariff (which has other uses, like poker ;)) then you can make international calls at local rates.
As far as a normal tariff goes, I recommend one of the cash back offers http://www.e2save.com/contract-mobile-phone/Nokia-2310-Red-Price-Match/NOK2310RED by far the best deal (can't beat free!) for a normal contract, but no better for international calls unfortunately. A full brief of roaming charges for mobile phones can be seen here and you may be surprised to see text messages for instance dropping to just 7p per minute within the EU.
