Title: IPOD earphones
Post by: Dingdell on December 12, 2007, 12:19:39 PM
The only thing I could think of for my dad to get me for Chrsitmas is ipod earphones - I am sick of the little bud things I try and keep in my ears. I was thinking of those even smaller ones they have now but I don't fancy pulling them in and out of my ears all the time when I want to know what's going on. So I was thinking of proper earphone type things.

I wanted something more comfortable and under £40. Any recommendations please? Great if it can be ordered on the internet.

Thanks.

I bought some of these recently and they are excellent

these (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-CX300-Stereo-Earphones-White/dp/B000IDUP3G/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1197462883&sr=8-3)

edit:scrub that, just saw you wanted over ear ones.  These are good in ear ones though.

If you want the full-on Scandie cans experience these are quite good - Scandie cans (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-HD215-Closed-Back-Headphone/dp/B0007QN180/ref=pd_bbs_sr_13?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1197463512&sr=8-13)

I love grado cans.

these http://www.hifibitz.co.uk/product.asp?id=1024 arent too bad for mp3 use, they will also do a decent turn with proper hifi.

the more you spend though, the better it gets.....

Sennheiser are the best ones to get (IMHO).

I use these and I love them - well handy not having the wires around although it adds a bit of bulk to the Ipod itself, which I keep in my pocket.

*insert joke about Sheriff 'carrying extra bulk' here*

I bought a pair of Sennheiser PX100 which are very good quality and fold up into something similar to a spectacles case.

I got mine from Amazon and they cost just over £20 delivered.
