Nooooo

Only reason I have a daughter is that when she's twelve, I'll finally have an excuse to go to one of her concerts.  ;ashamed;

Think I'll swap her for the Enemy in my top five and pretend I never said anything.  ;whistle;

Been sadly inept at keeping my music collection up to date this year.  Recently bought Scouting for Girls' CD though and that's quite jolly.

funny, i thought the valerie cover was the worse dross of the year, i quite like winehouse but this song was so bad to begin with. My friend started a 'stop mark ronson' group on facebook and his brother has been in contact ever since demanding it be taken down.
And as for Kate Nash are you having a laugh? I thought the Klaxons was pretty dull as well, golden skans is a cracking tune though.

arcade fire - an absolute joy
radiohead - surprisingly brilliant
arctic monkeys - has some pearlers but not a great album
Jamie T - cool and addictive

some others -
Soulsavers - It's Not How Far You Fall, It's the Way You Land
The White Stripes - Icky Thump
Rodrigo Y Gabriela (don't know if it came out this year but i started listening to it this year)
