Those waiting to watch the first semi-final (and the second tomorrow night) were no doubt delighted that Ladbrokes have sensibly not revealved who the finalists are  :)

My apologies, I didn't realise the semis hadn't been shown yet, or i wouldn't have asked.

No problem. I think it's a bit of a shame they've done away with the live semi-finals as it's reduced the anticipation around it for me. Recorded highlights affect the sense of the changing dynamics in a game (and even if the editors do a good job with their hand selection we really don't know whether what they choose to show is a fair reflection of the how the game ebbed flowed).

I know there's a lot of dead time in a live tournament, but I liked having the option of being able to see the whole thing (and with Sky+ and fast forward buttons we can edit out a lot of the dead time ourselves).

Wow!! Didn't realise Crappy and Julain were in the final! I'm going down to watch the final, and was expecting it to be full of people I'd never heard of! Awesome, and good luck to you both!! :)

Best avoid the betting sites for this event if you don't want to know anything :D
