Not sure what kind of team I will put out yet though ;) Title: Re: battrick friendlies Post by: Ironside on December 30, 2007, 05:18:50 PM my team was hammered today by ramshire
but i need a game for next week send invite if you want a game Title: Re: battrick friendlies Post by: Bongo on December 30, 2007, 05:23:17 PM My top 3 all hit tons today, as I got a strong rating for top order for the 2nd time (no GFI today!)
I'll play you next week if you want. Title: Re: battrick friendlies Post by: matt674 on December 30, 2007, 07:31:54 PM gave a few players a rest in a friendly against Newport Lad so brought in a few new faces and tinkered with the line up a little. Unfortunately batting first i didnt make the most of it and only managed 252 for 5 off the 50 overs. After taking a couple of quick wickets to start he managed to get things back on track and his middle order managed to get him over the finish line with a couple of overs to spare
if anyone wants a friendly next week then send me a challenge - also does anyone have a link to how the run up to next season goes? Title: Re: battrick friendlies Post by: Ironside on December 30, 2007, 08:07:55 PM play off on friday

Title: Re: battrick friendlies Post by: KeithyB on January 02, 2008, 08:34:48 PM play off on friday sunday is friendly 20/20 starts monday sunday is friendly then more 20/20 friendly sunday tuesday start of fc Thanks for that Iron....both myself and the bank manager have been wondering what was happening to the fixtures! ;surrender; Although looking back at some historical T20 games they don't seem to attract any bigger crowds than friendlies get. Is that normal? Title: Re: battrick friendlies Post by: Ironside on January 02, 2008, 09:25:08 PM 20/20 games gates are that of a friendly
fixtures will come this weekend i think Title: Re: battrick friendlies Post by: Bongo on January 03, 2008, 01:33:25 AM Attendances for T20 have been tweaked this year though, so don't know what they will be. In previous years we were still getting the £55k a week subsidy.

Title: Re: battrick friendlies Post by: amcgrath1uk on February 18, 2008, 11:15:15 PM sent.
will be strictly playing a 2nd XI tho. Title: Re: battrick friendlies Post by: Ironside on February 18, 2008, 11:23:50 PM i dont have a 2nd team i have a OD team and a FC team
i will use my OD team with a few people that arent good enough for either team and my new 17 year old future U19 who might be a bit tire to hold a bat with his 6 nets Title: Re: battrick friendlies Post by: amcgrath1uk on February 18, 2008, 11:33:48 PM I've got an 18yo that might only play the odd game this year as I want him superb/superb this time next season, so he might get a game.
Title: Re: battrick friendlies Post by: Ironside on February 18, 2008, 11:46:48 PM my 18 year old is already superb/strong and no the U19s can get him as i am using the nets for the 17 year old
