Title: A Photo For Red Dog. Post by: Tonji on December 20, 2007, 09:54:01 PM Hi Red,
I came across this photo in my warehouse. Its by Bob Kauders. On the back it says this is an Interior of a Barrel Top Wagon, & was taken in Birchwood Traveller site in Lincoln, 1984. (http://photo-history-books.co.uk/rg4f.jpg) Title: Re: A Photo For Red Dog. Post by: RED-DOG on December 21, 2007, 01:28:53 PM ARRGGHH!! I can't see the pic. (can anyone else?)
BTW- It's called a "Bow top" waggon because the roof is made by stretching a sheet over bowed wooden strips or "Laths" Title: Re: A Photo For Red Dog. Post by: Dewi_cool on December 21, 2007, 01:35:00 PM I could yesterday, must have deleted it by mistake

I guess they have stopped hotlinking and direct links, and the people who can see it have the image in their cache already. Title: Re: A Photo For Red Dog. Post by: tikay on December 21, 2007, 04:49:51 PM Tom, I have "saved" the picture, & I will e-Mail it to you. Give me 2 minutes.

Title: Re: A Photo For Red Dog. Post by: RED-DOG on December 21, 2007, 05:25:01 PM Thanks, I can see it now.
The waggon is an "Open lot" i.e. no door, but an opening at the front with a lace-up sheet. (Note the queen stove in the foreground) Please try to post the others. PS-I need to check something before naming the family. Title: Re: A Photo For Red Dog.
