No doubt i am away for Christmas and New Year, which means I will have severe DTD withdrawal symptoms by the time I get back to Nottingham.  I will be there most Thursdays grinding.

I posted this on a previous thread for if your coming from the south, traffic will be baaaaad tonight.

If you have Sat Nav I'd highly recommend taking the M1 exit IMMEDIATELY after the leicester services and take the A46 north and attack Nottingham from the east side. Your Sat Nav will direct you there once your on the A46, you will avoid the worst of the traffic if you follow this route. I use this route from the south to my home in Notts at least 3 days a week and its much quicker at peak time trust me!

Played for the first time last night and it was a great poker experience.
The only down side was Q/Q being no good against 10/10 all in pre flop. :(

Oh, & for those travelling up from the South, you MUST take the advice about coming off the M1 at J21a, just above Leicester Services. On a Friday afternoon, the traffic on the M1 Northbound is almost stationery from just above Leicester, right up to Sheffield - 40 miles or more.

Just got back..!!!  buggered...!!!

2nd time there after the opening weekend..  A bit quieter this time due to slightly less people there..!

i busted out 18th of the main tourney...  Nothing spectacular, no bad beats, just never went my way... played a few sng's, cahsed in one, not in the other...

Overall a great night...  Great place..

Hell of a trip home 100 miles in the fog.  Could not see more than a few cats eyes ahead of us a lot of the way.  Luckily Jason was the driver but he was knackered when he got home because of the concentration needed

Well not exactly. The map is pretty acurate. But his car DOES have built in radar, so we would obviously have had plenty of warning of any impending collision (1.5 seconds).

Went DTD last night and ended up at a table with Red Dog and Maria- great time to be had and won some money.... Hit 2 sets and flopped quads and got paid!!!

If only my 555 hadnt ran into KKK (ooops)!!!!

Once again had a great night, never really got going in the tourny,so went out 23/24 ish, Mr Nun was the bubble boy, his pkt ladies were no match for pkt 3's when matey hit his trips,and then his AK was not match for A 5 with hitting trips A's but the 5 also showed up which put him out of the game, shame as we were going to return tonight if one of us cashed. Loved the night and look forward to returning soon.
