Title: Cash Games - Crushing?
Post by: Delboy on December 22, 2007, 01:44:53 PM
I read/here the phrase "I was crushing the game at that level". What does it, in reality mean?

My win rate over the last 4 months has been about 7BB/100 (about 50K hands) at all levels. Is this "crushing" the game? It doesn't feel like it!

What win rate would you say, I would need to honestly say that I'm crushing the level.? 10BB/100? 12BB/100? 15BB/100?

Do people regularly expect to win 15BB/100? If they do, I am yet to meet them on the BPC!!!

Lol im sure I used this phrase recently. I reckoned "crushing" a limit was over 5pttbb/100 (10big blinds a 100 hands) over a significant sample size at least 50k hands.

Thinly veiled brag post of course.

not sure about how many bb's per hour i make as i am on holiday and far away from my PT, however surely you just gotta look at your profit / hour or day to know if what you are doing is worthwhile.. no?

For me, When your BR increases by 6-20 BI for a few hours a day you are ballin' / crushing the level.

In terms of crushing a limit I'd say 100k hands over 5ptbb/100 is "crushing". That isn't even really a big enough sample size to define a winrate but its probably "near".
