Post by: Slick Kid on December 23, 2007, 09:26:13 AM On Friday whilst playing in the £100 freeze out in the new Poker Capital of Britian l witnessed an AMAZING hand between two very good players, who l'm sure will tell the story off for many years to come!

From the players you listed, it would seem that the standard is very high. It would also appear as though good players, like Rookie, are travelling to play this tourney. If I was solely playing for an income rather than the added enjoyment factor, then this might hinder my decision to play somewhat.

Post by: neeko on December 28, 2007, 04:51:00 PM No, despite hanging around till 1:30am ish at 20-25k all night - I lost a coin flip to bust in 17/18th spot. (money paid at 13 - I could have hung around longer and maybe scraped into the money but I decided to try and double up to the safety of 20BB's and go for a top 3 finish)
KK was a nightmare for me the rest of the night - I stupidly doubled up a player who had TJ on a TT4 board and then got it crushed by QQ AIPF. Title: Re: Its a funny old game we play.......... At a guess i'm thinking this is a hand i read about. I would be interested to know your views if an opponent played exactly the same hand AGAINST you? Or wouldn't you have been in the pot?
