Title: sporting gifts at Xmas

Alan Hansen - one last trip round Morrison's. Why Morrison's should think that a chance to bump into Alan Hansen might be one more reason to pop in there is beyond me. Sure he's all smiles on the ads but you can imagine him when the cameras have stopped rolling.

"That stack of baked beans is all over the place! Great big gaps opening up everywhere! The trolley's having a complete nightmare - it keeps pulling out to the left and it ends up going nowhere.

"And look here, a bag of muesli on the floor, and no one's picking it up! The manager's in big trouble. Worst of all are these baby goats in the frozen food department! You cannae fill the premier fridge wi' kids!!!"

Steve McClaren - a really, really big umbrella so we can see that huge smile glinting in the glow of his ill-gotten guilders.

Apparently he's going to get as far away from football as he can for a while - he's staying on Teesside.

some proper gems on the link, but the above are a couple of my favs ;)

GFY Colonel,  Three Point Lane is closing, and Fortress Lane will open from Boxing day onwards ...

Ps, this one made me laugh as well ..

The Jockey Club - a copy of CSI Miami so they can see how to collect evidence. What a waste of bloody money that was.

And if there has ever been a sport where a failed drugs test shouldn't have much of a bearing on things it's horse racing. So what if Fallon was on something - it's the blinking horse you need to check. He's the one doing all the running!
