I enjoyed the festive one by Boldedge and made a decent profit from it, and ive been studying ahead of tomorrows games, but its not the festive period anymore so thought id start a new thread to ongo.

So what does everyone think about tomorrow.

I was saddened to see Silo and Bandit ignore my tip for Hartlepool the other day and put Leeds in their coupons, as we were very lucky to get a last minute equaliser, and i would be tempted to tip Swansea tomorrow, but am put off by the short price. Maybe the bookies are growing wise to Leeds's lack of ability.

Im gona have a major look now, will get back in a bit

my first thoughts are to be with Port Vale as Luton have suspension problems after the Christmas period, you there Tighty, whats the word on the street for Luton 2morrow?

Charlton are an Excellent bet to beat Leicester tomorrow

Leicester have picked up a bit but are basically still a side lacking confidence and pace in key areas, and Holloway cannot begin changing this until January

We also have an awful home record stretching back three seasons

Charlton are a touch inconsistent but what they do have is pace to burn, especially up front, with McCleod and Varney alongside Iwelumo

Whilst of course I want Leicester to win, I''m on Charlton..best priced nearly 2-1.

Luton seem to defy a lot of recent problems ...went into admin docked 10 points and then the form started picking up

beat Forest in the FA Cup to draw Liverpool in the 3rd and then on boxing day went down to 8 men away at Bristol R and 1-0 down scored to get a point!

Whilst I agree the problems are ongoing there seems a remarkable spirit in the side and Port Vale are AWFUL, and have been all season being bottom of the table

Norwich at home to Wolves draw best price 5/2..McCarthy sets up Wolves to draw each away match, seen them twice away this season and boring is an understatement. Norwich recovering a little but not strong enough to mean this isn't a good bet

Top of the table clash in div two darlington at home to MK Dons, draw at 9/4...MK Dons tough to beat, likely to be a stalemate

In theory yes, in practice no. Iwelumo is carrying a quite serious ankle injury but is playing through it as there's noone to replace him. Varney is currently playing in midfiels and McCleod's only ever scored once. The difference though may be Dickson who's just been called back early from a loan spell, has pace and does know how to score.

I like the look of Charlton also, and looked at MK Dons again this weekend. Darlington arent a great side in my opinion, and MK Dons are 6 points clear, decent away from home and a decent price taking this into account.

Saying that, I think ill just have one bet tomorrow but make it a fairly large one:

Edit: Gona copy off Tightend and take the draw in Norwich v Wolves aswell. Made a decent amount so far this season backing Wolves to draw away and can see that continuing tomorrow against an improving Norwich outfit.

Right I saw Port Vale on Boxing day against Walsall, they were pretty poor, had 3 players injured and subbed before half time and look short of goals, I wouldnt be backing them tommorrow... McGoldrick on loan from Southampton does well playing left mid, but he's really a STK... Sinnott will need time to turn them around...

I also saw Luton last saturday beat Tranmere 1-0, there formation is different to anything else in this division and Tranmere adapting themselves to play 4-5-1 (which Ronnie Moore never does), they have some good quality...



Struggling away (Carlisle), but Rovers are at home, saw them at Swindon last month and their midfield looks devoid of goals, they rely too much on Lambert...

I'd never bet on Wolves - we're the most annoying team in the division, granted this looks stitched on for 0-0 but guaranteed we'll either sneak a goal or find a way to concede one (might manage both for 1-1 though).

You think we're boring away from home - I've had to suffer all our home games and we're even worse at home (biggest cheer last home game was when we eventually had a shot on goal in the 60th minute!!).

plymouth are a bit overpriced versus stoke today, as much as it pains me to oppose my team, we don't travel long distances well and plymtouh are solid.

Yeah.  I checked the score and saw Swansea were leading 1-0 with an 87th minute goal and assumed that would be that.  But later on i saw the final score.

I thought Burnley were excellent today and caused us a few problems. Kev I know you are a bit of a Burnley fan so it was a bit of a freeroll for you today. I backed us to win 3-0 so I was a little dissapointed.
