Why? Because ur beaten a far higher % of the time than ur not. Villain dependant, when .50/1 cash players flat the flop then min check raise the turn, you are toast.
Title: Re: turn action Post by: jpean on December 29, 2007, 07:19:57 AM Firstly, we have to think that the only thing he could have is a big Ace, Jack, Queens, Aces or a set.
But he plays like this Jack fear him... so he has something. Maybe that he fears the flush... I think that I would make the calling station and call everything he bet, but never re raise. he check ? I check. On the Other hand, I'm not sure that going All-in is a bad thing here... Title: Re: turn action Post by: Tragic on December 29, 2007, 04:43:47 PM I agree with Alex.

Title: Re: turn action Post by: Longy on December 31, 2007, 12:01:22 PM Baluga theorem* ftw, Fold.
You are beat more often than not here, this is a super strong line villain is showing plus its full ring which is total nit fest. * Baluga theorem is named after a 2p2 poster, who's rule was that if we get check raised on the turn in a raised pot after cbetting. 1 pair is almost never good. It does make you look disgustingly strong which is why it is such a good rep v TAG regs and deep stacks though ;) Title: Re: turn action Post by: Longy on December 31, 2007, 02:44:00 PM Baluga theorem* ftw, Fold. Title: Re: turn action Post by: The_Diamond on December 31, 2007, 03:14:11 PM Without notes on the villain I would fold but I think I'm almost getting to the stage where I wouldn't as lately a lot players are using these small turn raises to represent a stronger hand than they have, or they are morons with JQs who chase overcards and backdoor draws.
