Torres played far worse than Kuyt in that game. You should know better! Kuyt can't be criticised on that performance (maybe on others). Torres looked disinterested, and let their centre backs get to him. Premiership a two horse race now. Man C definitely the happier of the two here, UEFA cup being the sum of their ambition I think Benitez will be gone within 3 months, definitely something amiss with the chemistry within the club it seems to me, and Liverpool start afresh next season with a new manager to try to crack the Premiership Title: Re: City v Liverpool Post by: kinboshi on December 30, 2007, 06:29:21 PM Citeh had 2 shots in the whole game - none on target.
For a team that had previously only dropped 2 points at home in the league all season they hardly came out looking for the win. Liverpool were too blunt up front. But we still should have scored. I love our sensationalist media. Ian Holloway to be announced as the new Liverpool boss in January... Title: Re: City v Liverpool Post by: TightEnd on December 30, 2007, 07:12:08 PM I think you're right. Ian Holloway to be announced as the new Liverpool boss in January... we need stability, even though jury out on him we just need someone to stay put for a while I'd interivew Benitez for next time there's a vacancy though lol Title: Re: City v Liverpool Post by: bobby1 on December 30, 2007, 07:16:23 PM Forget that 2nd rate entertainment , darts is where its at, sky sports 1 now!!

But I still dont think he's a premiership winning striker, YES i appreciate he does a lot of work off the ball etc etc, but that only gets you so far... He's been useless in other games, but today he was far better than Torres. Torres however, has been far better week-in, week-out. We missed Crouch today. I'm not sure how games over a one month period could decide the fate of a manager held in the regard ours is. If Benitez is sacked it will not be for footballing reasons. It will be because our owners have bruised egos. Title: Re: City v Liverpool Post by: The Baron on December 31, 2007, 04:05:59 PM Kuyt.Is.Sh*t. That is all... With all due respect, that's bollocks. Our finishing is not clinical enough, Torres aside. |
