Post by: doubleup on January 02, 2008, 06:07:41 PM Not sure about this one. Does he normally flat call pre with AK? I'd have to fold vs a regular because I'm a lot tighter than you and tend to check the turn if my c-bet on an A-high flop is called, so AK would cr me on the flop. His line seems a bit odd - if he has a set or big Ace I really would expect a c-r. So the 8 mustve improved him in some way - 75hh?, some other combi draw? I think it is a call though as I can't easily put him on a hand that beats you and he plays this way, but if he played a set slowly ok he's got me. Title: Re: I hate it when they do this, still, fistpump shove right? Post by: AlexMartin on January 03, 2008, 08:22:38 PM Ok, doubleup this is exactly what i was thinking. How has a nit improved on that turn. Well the lil mofo called me on the flop w 88 which makes it all clear now. Not sure if i ever get away from this though tbh and seeing as it was a 20/1 shot with implied of roughly the same i guess he made the mistake right(?) as he wont stack me every time he makes it. Still annoying, but i thought flop bet had weeded out marginal hands.
