Anyone else had a play-off match today?

I won mine against a team gone bot, but with a couple of high rated players still in there (44k and 25k ish from memory).

Quite how I ended up finishing 2nd in my group is a mystery to me, as it was the result of a bizarre hammering at the start of the season to a team which was miles weaker than mine, which I failed to catch up to on net run rate.  At least it didn't impact me adversely.

I'm looking forward to playing humans again next season following a double promotion but I'll miss the revenue benefits of being a winning Div VI team.  I'd be far worse off at this stage if I'd have stayed up in Div V last season.

Hopefully now I'll get an easier league in which I can be competitive.

Surely winning your playoff means that you stay in div V otherwise what would be the point of the playoff?   :dontask:
