Title: Anyone else allergic to going to the dentist? Post by: Longy on January 07, 2008, 04:56:04 PM Just been to the dentist for the first time in a decade and it brought back horrid memories of my childhood. I for some reason have the hardest teeth in the world to remove and it used take an hour+ to get a tooth out when i was a teenager (overcrowding in parts of the mouth), I have since avoided the damn places since Doctors, Hospitals, Planes, Snakes, Spiders fine, dentists are just horrid experience to me.
So unfortunately yesterday I had a searing toothache and couldn't sleep last night. So I trundle along to the dentist, I had no option I was in such pain. He fiddles about with a tooth and says i need root canal surgery which involves extensive work, so rigged. I regret not going in the last 10 years as life would no doubt be easier now but the place leaves me with dread more than anything else. Title: Re: Anyone else allergic to going to the dentist? Post by: madasahatstand on January 07, 2008, 06:43:03 PM I don't like dentists myself and at school I wrote a poem about my detest for them. I wish I could remember it..... They are however a necessary evil as you have found out. Don't worry about the root canal. I've had one done and it was easy (liar liar pants on fire :) ) Just sit back, relax and think of winning a game:) Easy!
