Title: Blinding Away Post by: jjandellis on January 09, 2008, 06:29:14 PM I'm looking to get back to Cardiff for the APAT this weekend (title defence and all that), but find myself stuck in Northern Norway. There is a severe lack of flights from here and my last option of using the Learjet just evaporated. Using civil air is out of the question as it'll cost me a grand or so just to get to the UK.
Now, I know there is a flight on the day of the tourney which gets into Swindon area at 1800 hrs. (Assuming there are no delays) I reckon I can get to Cardiff for about 20:30 hrs. Starting stack is 10k at 1430 hrs. So 8 levels: 1 25 / 50 14:30 40:00 15:10 2 50 / 100 15:10 40:00 15:50 3 75 / 150 15:50 40:00 16:30 4 100 / 200 16:30 40:00 17:10 00:10 Break 5 150 / 300 17:20 40:00 18:00 6 200 / 400 18:00 40:00 18:40 7 300 / 600 18:40 40:00 19:20 01:00 Dinner 8 400 / 800 20:20 40:00 21:00 How close to the felt (if I am still alive) do you think I'll be upon arrival???? Ask Des if you can transfer to next National event, and give an alternate a go, because you wont have anything left... He'll just get his money back won't he? That's the norm. I feel bad for you as your incredible effort looks unlikely to see you in the tournament.
