Title: What Happens If Newcastle Appoint a Caretaker?
Post by: GlasgowBandit on January 12, 2008, 02:08:58 AM
I have heard that Redknapp has decided to Stay at Portsmouth till the summer out of loyalty to the Pompey chairman and take over at Newcastle in Pre-Season what happens if the guy I have backed for the job is made caretaker boss?  As he is not the "permanent" appointment would we still get paid out if our guy takes over the reigns till then?

Bets are settled when Newcastle appoint a full time manager, caretaker or part time managers arent settled as winners.

Wow if this is true, Newcastle are turning themselves into a joke. I mean wtf. They need someone in now to sort out the team decide what he likes in the current squad or dislikes and them come the summer sort it out. Instead of Harry turning up in July and realising that half the squad are useless by September, then getting sacked in January cos the board have no patience.

Basically the club is going to go nowhere for the next 6 months.

Sky Sports - Redknapp turns down job.  I doubt he'll be joining in the summer either.
