This hand I think depends a bit on his thoughts about you - have you appeared to be loose passive?  Unless he has the impression that you're a rock this is prob a push for me.

I was playing two tables so was playing reasonably tight aggressive.

What range do you put him on?

Based on your stats he certainly raises pre with TT+ AQ AJs KQs.  If he thinks you are a bit nittish its prob a fold as he's unlikely I think to play a worse ace this strongly unless he has hearts as well.

reasonably? flat call with AK at this limit. lol. if you were doing it to disguise your hand then insta call. if you were doing it cause you're a tagdonk then tell yourself he has A10 and fold like an idiot. if i'm him and putting you on blind defence with a check raise on that kinda flop or a flush draw. so if i was him i'd be coming back over the top with a range that you're well ahead of.

this would play alot eaiser if you reraised preflop then you can comfortably stack off. i still stack off the way it was played he could have a10-ak and/or Ahrt Xh draw

I'd be a bit more subtle than Tempie here but he's right.

There is no way you can fold here. and next time raise pre-flop.

This is the money shot here. Also ross, you should nearly always be 3-betting preflop here.

Thanks for the replies, i'll keep in mind the comments and hopefully play it better next time!

I folded....

...but he showed A10 so in that instance it was a good fold i guess, just played it badly.

Well, I've read results so hard for me to be neutral but my first instinct was to fold. This guy is a nit. I really struggle to see him 3 betting here with anything we beat
