Title: The Sopranos - modern Hamlet
Post by: tantrum on January 18, 2008, 10:28:22 PM
I have bought the whole series of the Sopranos.  I saw few of the episodes before  but never watched it from the start.  What a treat. The writing, directing, acting; the whole lot is absolutely superb. It reminds a bit of Hamlet.  Any one else a big fan of the Sopranos?

Watched the first 5 shows a few months back but gave up, not sure why tbh but weirdly i was just checking the synopsis on the telly for tonights ep, i'm aiting for it to catch me up to see if i can rekindle some interest.
The writers strike has killed off all my current shows.

Excellent isn't it?
Look out for Dirty Sexy Money and Madmen when they get over here, both very good.

Gave up on Madmen after about 5 shows, I just couldn't get into it.

Damages was excellent throughout, and I believe I read it was returning next season.

Californication, Pushing Daisies, Dexter.... some good TV around - damn that writers strike!
