If anyone has been to the festival before could you tell me what you miss out on if you only get tattersalls tickets?

By far the best place to go during the festival is the Best Mate enclosure.
It's still busy obviously, but not as mad as the 'other' side of the track.
In Tatts during the festival its virtually impossible to get a bet on and then get a good spot to watch from.
In the Best Mate enclosure its easy to get your bet on and wander up to the back of the stand 5 minutes before the off.
Excellant view as well.

Although i should say i haven't been in Tatts/Club since it's been 4 days. I've been told it's less crowded apart from Gold Cup day.

Tatts is not too bad on any other day than GC day..though Champion hurdle (Irish day) it's busy but great fun.
