For individual tracks:
Shareaza, same as limewire except no adware or spyware and a bigger network.
For albums:
Bitcomet and use the torrent sites.

The site I pointed out is for listenening, only downloading by the tech savvy.

People have been sharing music since pre-cassete players etc.

It'll never stop no matter what the medium.

As I understand it is copyright infringement and not actually theft... Robert?

It looks like songza just grabs the flvs from youtube too.

I've not looked at the technical details, take it you've had a look ?

I was just trying to find a song LOL

Genius.

Songza, when you select a result gives the option to buy the song with the click-through to Amazon (obviously getting the site a kickback).

It's quite a site when your hunting for music.

It was the loading from youtube... in the status bar that gave it away. ;)

I've spent more time on it now, it goes to loads of different sources (not just youtube - not had any from there).

No failed searches yet and i'm getting loads of good versions (original/cover/live) of some of the numbers I was hunting.

Well bookmarkable.

Weekends I sometimes have folks back to  mine after the pub/club/poker game and if I aint already got the music a guest wants, this site does it for me.
