Ideally the not paying anything variety. Title: Re: Downloading Music Post by: Pelham Boy on January 22, 2008, 05:38:12 PM Try Limewire.
Title: Re: Downloading Music Post by: ifm on January 22, 2008, 05:57:57 PM For individual tracks:
Shareaza, same as limewire except no adware or spyware and a bigger network. For albums: Bitcomet and use the torrent sites. downloading listen then paying for it if you like it is still theft but i prefer that rather than pure dont right open theft says the man whose taste in music is anything pre elvis death Title: Re: Downloading Music Post by: Ecosse on January 22, 2008, 07:17:12 PM stealing music is theft downloading listen then paying for it if you like it is still theft but i prefer that rather than pure dont right open theft says the man whose taste in music is anything pre elvis death The site I pointed out is for listenening, only downloading by the tech savvy. People have been sharing music since pre-cassete players etc. It'll never stop no matter what the medium. Robert? It looks like songza just grabs the flvs from youtube too. Title: Re: Downloading Music Post by: Ecosse on January 22, 2008, 07:34:48 PM Genius. Songza, when you select a result gives the option to buy the song with the click-through to Amazon (obviously getting the site a kickback). It's quite a site when your hunting for music. It was the loading from youtube... in the status bar that gave it away. ;) Title: Re: Downloading Music Post by: Ecosse on January 22, 2008, 09:04:23 PM I've spent more time on it now, it goes to loads of different sources (not just youtube - not had any from there).
No failed searches yet and i'm getting loads of good versions (original/cover/live) of some of the numbers I was hunting. Well bookmarkable. Weekends I sometimes have folks back to mine after the pub/club/poker game and if I aint already got the music a guest wants, this site does it for me. Title: Re: Downloading Music Post by: KingPoker on January 22, 2008, 10:18:54 PM Great Find!
