My mind is blank, dogs outside sit and bark I feel I’m falling from a plane No chute to open, just wind and rain I spin through the air towards the ground The planes engines a distant sound. This is the moment, it had to come Me and my maker will be as one Momentarily a glint of light For some unknown reason the grounds not in sight Maybe it’s a sign, I do not know The time is not right for me to go. So tomorrow I think I will try some more To live in this world I so adore Maybe life is not so bad I feel so cross for feeling sad As I type this out I think aloud I once was a man oh so proud. I ask myself what is it all about ? Voices inside scream and shout I wish I could clear these thoughts so black I want to look forward, no going back Is my mind going insane?
