Title: Champion Hurdle performance? Post by: bobby1 on January 27, 2008, 03:09:03 PM Sizing Europe won very well today at Leopardstown and has been shortened to under 3/1 for the Champion but surely the form of Osana who gave him 6 lbs when beaten 4 lengths at Cheltenham looks even stronger especially after its impressive performance last time out too.
Any thoughts? Title: Re: Champion Hurdle performance? Any thoughts? The champion looks very tricky this year. I think this is the first time I haven't already made my mind up about it. Title: Re: Champion Hurdle performance? Any thoughts? I was on yesterday @ 4/1 (chirp, chirp) and was a bit worried when it didn't seem to settle at all well but the result was never in doubt from three out. The Greatwood hurdle form is working out well but Sizing Europe laughed at Osana at Cheltenham although it was in receipt of the 6lbs. SE hasn't been off the bridle in those last two races and could be an absolute monster imo, however I'm not tempted to dive in @ 11/4. 5/4 Osana and Sizing Europe against the field hmmmm... |
